This route allows companies to transfer workers from their overseas offices to their UK branch for a specific period of time.

Similarly to a Tier 2 General visa, the applicant must have a valid Sponsorship from a licensed Sponsor and must meet the maintenance requirement.

However, unlike a Tier 2 General visa, there is no requirement for the employer to advertise the vacancy to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test and no English language requirement.

It is important to note that Tier 2 (ICT) visas do not lead to settlement.
